My New Toy =)

While I was attending Brooks Institute I noticed one day in the studio that the strobes I was using were made in Nashville. I got so excited to see that something so great came from my hometown so far away. Yesterday I visited the Paul C. Buff factory in Nashville where the wonderful White Lightning strobes I learned to use at Brooks are made. It was awesome! I was so gitty it was ridiculous, but my sales lady is obviously used to photographers reactions when they walk in the door. We tend to get overly excited when it comes to cool photo gadgets. The decor was too cute, with it's multi colored, vibrant walls and Paul's original art work hanging, which is enough to make anyone light up with happiness. As I walked to the showroom to play with the merchandise, I noticed the ladies in the offices were wearing bee antennas on their headsets. Just another reason to smile and "bee" happy. I had so much fun taking the tour and playing with the lights, I blurted out, "I'll take an Alien Bee Ring Flash please!" Meanwhile, I think it was the best decision. I just love it. Every time I look at it, I smile and think of the fun day I had in the factory. Not to mention I now have a studio light in which will enhance my photography. Below are photos of my new toy. Enjoy!
